Climate notes for April 27th 2024

This week I spent time in San Francisco for work. Which is a mere 2 weeks after being in Las Vegas for work. And in 2 weeks I will be in NYC for work. I will have cumulatively travelled enough to be in the air longer than I'm on the ground. Sure, I'm productive. Sure, we're getting shit done. But I can't help but feel a huge pang of guilt. No power generation through solar or cycling will ever catch up to that. Ironically, it's this level of work that grants me the economic ability to have solar panels, batteries, EVs and nice bicycles alongside fresh fruit, home-grown veggies, etc. etc.
