Climate notes for September 9th 2023
This week has been unusually hot in Ireland. Not central European levels of heat, but enough heat plus humidity to make it feel more like Singapore than Dublin. Given how temporary it is, I think people are deciding to enjoy the heat and get out to beaches/parks/etc. But it is unusually hot. And I feel bad for kids in school this week!
My hope, though, is that this is a strong reminder that climate change is real, not a future threat, but very much so something to be concerned about right now.
