Short one this time as I was travelling through the week & was too busy to really consume much information. I explained more in my notes for this week.

• Dow promised to turn sneakers into playground surfaces, then dumped them in Indonesia. The shoe industry is a tragic macro example of how our economics have doomed us to fail.
• Eamon Ryan: Free public transport would 'increase level of unnecessary trips'. He may be correct to some extent, but I'd rather unnecessary trips on public transport than in cars.
